Dynamic Forward Routing

Dynamic Forward Routing™ represents a revolution over previous methods of moving wireless data. With DFR, each client can aid other clients and towers by routing data in its spare time. Every radio communicates with every other radio, dynamically updating the map of available radios, and determining the most efficient path from radio to radio, or from radio to nearest wired infrastructure. Thus every DFR enabled radio dynamically rebuilds the map of available radios as individual clients or towers become unavailable due to shutdown or other reasons or as new radios enter into a geographic area. DFR is therefore able to forward data packets as efficiently if not more efficiently than a static wired network.

DFR can be used in any wireless network where a client may be temporarily "hidden" from direct view of the server, or where a cellular architecture is too difficult or costly to deploy.
